HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Arizona Light Creations, Inc. was born out of the persistence of one man's wife to finally do something fun and extraordinary with their outdoor Holiday decorations. She felt it unfair that she spent over 3 days decorating inside and that he spent 30 minutes outside throwing some lights on a bush. She felt that the outside of their home should receive the same attention and decorative flair that she worked so hard to create inside their home. He finally agreed to make the effort but wanted something really unique and exciting, but simple (since he doesn't read directions) that would really light up the neighborhood.

He went searching for a product that would enable him to decorate the trees and outside of their home just like his wife did on the inside, but in far less time. However, after searching in vain for something new, exciting and different, he found nothing. Out of frustration he decided the only way to really light up the neighborhood was to create his own decorations and from that came a hand-made 10" hanging sphere decorations. Starting in 1992 and throughout the first several holiday seasons so many people stopped to ask where to get these fantastic light ornaments that the idea was born of creating a company to manufacture and sell his creation. This product became the Original Light Scamps® 10" Hanging Light Decoration. They were easy to assemble and install but beautiful enough to take your breath away.

Arizona Light Creations, Inc. was founded in 1996 and began with the introduction of the Light Scamps® 10" sphere in various colors. The unprecedented success and growth of this product has over time inspired an entire year-round line of Light Scamps® lighted decorations and ornaments plus The Nectar Cafe™ line of hummingbird feeders.
